    Flat Head Ø1.2 Solid Brass Nails

    Ø 1.2 mm (gauge 16) L=5-17 mm (3/16" - ~3/4″) They are made of solid brass and are polished. They have nice round shaped flat heads. Head diameter: for 5-7mm long - head 2.0mm (+-0.10mm) | 8-17mm long - head: 2.5mm (+-0.10mm) For characteristics see below.
  • Blackbird Lasting nails for Bespoke Hand Shoemaking. Medium-thin shank 1.1 mm (wire gauge 18,5) lasting nails are specially polished and treated for smooth shank and tip. Because of 1.1 shank, they are the best ratio between thin and strong. Especially good for thin and medium leather. Also, consider them if don’t like to damage shoe last with thick nails. If you prefer solid brass or copper plated lasting nails, check other listings. Copper plated nails The advantage of those nails is a thin layer of copper, which prevents oxidation of bright steel. Use those nails on light color leather.
